October 1rst 2015: Kick off meeting in Brussels

October 5th to 13th  2015: Teatro Vascello (in cooperation with  Goethe Institut Rom) – Rome

Workshop on “Villa Dolorosa” by Rebekka Kricheldorf
The workshop is focused on the play “Villa Dolorosa – Three birthday failed” of the young German playwright Rebekka Kricheldorf, based on the Three sisters by A. Cechov. It is lead by the theatre director Roberto Rustioni.
The workshop consists on the following steps:
– reading of the play
– attending the show Villa Dolorosa directed by Roberto Rustioni, production Fattore K, at Teatro Vascello in Rome
– analysis of the play and its theatrical staging (characters, scenes and relationships) in comparison with the text by A. Cechov.
The third step of the workshop consists in 2/3 hours per 3 or maximum 4 days and is organised in the premises of the participating school.
Age of the students: 16 years old or more (high school).

November 23rd – 27th November 2015: Teatrul Naţional Târgu-Mureş (Târgu-Mureş – Bucharest)
From 23rd to 26th Peca Ştefan will be involved in a three day workshop with the playwriting students.
On 27th November will be the stage presentation of “Mir nichts, dir nichts” by the German author Jan Friedrich, translated by Mircea Sorin-Rusu, directed by Gavril Cadariu, with the students of University of Arts Targu-Mures.

November 28th 2015: Interkulturelle Theaterzentrum Itz e.V. (Berlin – Germany)
“Materiali per una tragedia tedesca” (“Materialien für eine deutsche Tragödie”) by Antonio Tarantino has been chosen by Itz Berlin for three activities: two workshops and a play.
The play will be presented with two previews: on 28th November at TATWERK Berlin/Kreuzberg, on 5th December at HAUSER Berlin/Neukoelln. The show will be presented on 13th December VIERTE WELT Berlin/Kreuzberg, with Lea Barletti, Armin Dallapiccola, Elettra de Salvo, Carlo Loiudice, Lajos Talamonti, Archil Svimonishvili, Werner Waas, Barbara Weigel, Harald Wissler.
One of the workshop will be with the classmates of Albert Einstein Gymnasium, Europaschule Berlin/Neukoelln and the other one with a group of ageings of Theater der Erfahrungen Berlin/Schoeneberg.

Artistic Residence of the Rumanian Playwright Bogdan Georgescu in Barcelona – from 6th to 13th December 2015
Rumanian playwright Bogdan Georgescu is going to take part in a week-long artistic residence at the Sala Beckett in the context of the European project Fabulamundi. During his stay in Barcelona, Georgescu is going to attend the rehearsals of the work-in-progress of his play “Antisocial”, is going to talk to secondary school students about playwriting and is going to take part in a post-show talk.

March 14th – 16th 2016: La Mousson d’hiver (Pont-à-Mousson, France)
Mousson d’hiver is going to work with two authors coming from Germany: Petra Wüllenweber and Holger Schober.
Und Morgen?” (“And tomorrow?“) by Petra Wüllenweber will be translated by Ruth Orthmann, in collaboration with Goethe-Institut. “Lait Noir” by Holger Schober will be translated by Laurent Muhleisen and the stage presentation will be on 15th March 2016, directed by Éric Lehembre with the student of “Sciences Po Paris Campus de Nancy”.

March 30th 2016 / Teatrul Odeon
The stage presentation of “Promised Land” by Guillem Clua will be presented at Teatrul Odeon on 31st March 2016, at 19h30, Studio Hall. The Spanish author, during his stay in Bucharest, will lead two masterclasses: one with University students and the other one with High School students. He will participate also at a discussion with the audience, after the reading, together with the director Bobi Pricop and the actors involved: Dan Astilean, Mihai Smarandache, Ioana Anastasia Anton and Cezar Antal.
The stage presentation is organized with the support of Instituto Cervantes de Bucarest.

April 10th 2016: Teater an Der Parkaue (Berlin, Germany)
Theater an der Parkaue will produce the Mihaela Michailov text Copii Răi (in en. Bad kids, in de. Böse Kinder). The preview will be on 8th April 2016 and the national premiere will be on 10th April 2016. Other dates will be from 12sd to 14th April and June 16th, 17th 18th, 20th, 30th and July 1st.

About the text:
Jordi, the coach of a children’s swimming group, hugs and kisses one of the children, who is crying because he is afraid of the water and doesn’t want to take his back float off. Jordi’s gesture, however, will cause complaints from some of the parents and give rise to a spiral of mistrust that will bring to the surface all kinds of suspicions, prejudices and fears. Archimedes’ Principle is a play about human relations and contemporary fears. The work was produced with a creation grant from the Institució de les Lletres Catalanes (Catalan Letters Institute) and won the 36th Born Prize for Theatre.

The 14th of June has been started the rehearls of the new production of “Polices!”, a text written the French author Sonia Chiambretto and directed by the Italian Company Muta Imago.
The premiere will be at Short Theatre Festival on the 14th and 15 of September.

Theater an der Parkaue produced the Mihaela Michailov text Copii Răi (in en. Bad kids, in de. Böse Kinder). After the national premiere staged on 10th April 2016, there are other dates on 16th, 17th 18th, 20th, 30th of June and July 1st.
