Guillem Clua will be at Teatrul Odeon (Bucharest - Romania) with the world premiere of his text Kepler-438b from 17th September to 2nd October. Kepler-438b by Guillem Clua translated by Florin Galiș and Iunia Mircescu directed by Bobi Pricop stage design – Velica Panduru sound design – Eduard Gabia videography – Tania Cucoreanu multimedia installation – Mizdan, Dan Andrei Ionescu, Luca Achim Cast: Dan Aștilean, Mihai Smarandache, Ioana Anastasia Anton, Cezar Antal/ Alexandru Potocean Kepler-438b is a multimedia show which uses a video installation of processing and live streaming from an adjacent space to the main hall. The action is set at an indeterminate time in the future at the UN headquarters, where representatives of the Republic of Malvati, whose territory has almost disappeared due to climate change, ask their counterparts for an island in order to found a new land. Combining comedy, melodrama, political analysis and mythology, the play narrates the adventures of the President and his delegation, who are confronted with surrealist situations as they meet with delegates from different nations in their attempt to ensure their future as a people and as a family.
