New Voices partners and playwrights meeting in Paris

During the second Fabulamundi New Voices’ partners and playwrights meeting, which took place in Paris, the community had the opportunity to explore topics such as digital theatre, authors’ rights, ethical issues and to set the basis for a FAB-manifesto. The event also hosted a peer-to-peer meeting, developing the work through insightful sessions led by Carla Meller and Harold Wolff of CAE – Culture Action Europe, Academy of Theatre and Digitality in Dortmund, Heidi Wiley and Annabell Blank of European Theatre Convention, followed by a discussion led by the New Voices’ playwright Helena Tornero; activities continued through conferences conducted by Sarah Tick, director, playwright and founder of FAAR – Fonds d’Aide pour les Arts Vivants Responsables, Véronique Marty, head of International Licensing Division at SACD – Societè des Auteurs et Compositeurs Dramatiques, and with shared practices sessions with Ingeborg von Zadow and Ewa Mikula, New Voices’ playwrights.
