Heartefact House, Belgrade
From October 5th to 7th, 2024, the New Voices community of partners and playwrights will gather at the Heartefact House in Belgrade for a new meeting. As we reach the midway point of the project, this gathering presents a valuable opportunity to reflect on our progress over the past months and celebrate the creative strides we’ve made together. More importantly, it will serve as a platform to plan the next phase of our collaboration, driven by the energy and ambition that continue to define this vibrant community.

DAY 0 – NEW VOICES in BELGRADE | Friday, 4th October 2024

10:00 – 12:00 Heartefact City Walk: Introducing Belgrade through meeting in movement
The city tour will start from Heartefact House led by Jasmina Lazović from Heartefact Institute, and include locations and stories important to understand the context and history of Belgrade, Serbia and local cultural scene.
12:00 – 13:00 After walk discussion
The walk will culminate at the Heartefact House, where we will engage in an after-walk discussion moderated by Biljana Srbljanović, Patrik Lazić and Andrej Nosov.
13:00 – 14:30 Lunch break
14:30 – 15:30 New Voices Checkpoint: Partners and Playwrights Share Past and Upcoming Activities.
What happened after Paris? An in-depth look at the past months of activities at New Voices. • Workshops report, exchanging experiences • Twinning heartbeats • Mentoring path • Feedback or input on what could be improved.

12:00 – 14:00 Networking Lunch at Mezestoran Dvoriste (Svetogorska 46, Beograd)
14:00 – 14:30 Group Transfer: the Partners headed to the Heartefact House and the Playwrights to the Faculty of Dramatic Arts (Bulevar umetnosti 20, Belgrade)
14:30 – 17:30 Playwrights Hub at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts
Self-organized space for exchanging teaching experiences, writing the Manifesto, collecting playwriting exercises, exchanging experiences in the twinning scheme and more.
