DRAMA LAB 2024 is a playwriting workshop for young authors organised by Wiener Wortstaetten and led by author and playwright Bernard Studlar.
The emergence of new texts for the stage, as well as the artistic examination of relevant topics, and networking opportunities for authors are at the core of Wiener Wortstaetten’s work.
The Wiener Wortstaetten Drama Lab 2024, led by Berhard Studlar in collaboration with a dramaturg from Theatre Werk X, offers a 1-year-long contract for five authors that includes dramaturgy support, regular meetings, and networking opportunities. In addition, the workshop will lead to the creation of new texts. All resulting texts will be presented in scenic readings in Vienna during the „Wortstattnächte“ in autumn 2024.
