During this workshop, 10 teenagers from the Acting Class of the Vocational Arts Highschool in Târgu Mureș will write, rehearse, direct, and perform their own original monologue—culminating in a performance. They’ll explore playwriting, acting, and a bit of costume and set design, blending storytelling with creative expression. Through acting and storytelling, they will explore character development and engage with imaginative prompts.
The participants will master essential playwriting techniques—structuring scripts, building strong inciting incidents, and developing rich, distinctive characters. Through collaboration and peer feedback, they’ll refine their work and bring their stories to life. The program culminates in a live performance, where students will present their own monologues.
