From the collaboration between PAV / Fabulamundi New Voices and Piccolo Teatro di Milano – Teatro d’Europa, associate partner of the network, comes the workshop Make Kin Not Babies. Weaving Stories, Not Genealogies, conceived and led by Magdalena Barile, in collaboration with the Polish playwright Ewa Mikuła. This workshop offers a space to write, imagine, and invent new alliances for sustainable futures and alternative narrative models, attempting to trace tentacular connections between the human and the non-human — connections that already shape our world, even when we don’t see them. Haraway’s multispecies ecofeminism offers a radical way to rethink our relationships with the Earth and all its inhabitants. It means learning to live and die together — not only through familial ties, but through chosen kinships, born from processes of attention, care, and mutual persistence between human and non-human beings.
