Following the first phase of Me, Myself and AI held in March at Teatro India, the second part of the workshop continues at Teatro Torlonia, bringing together the ten participants to further develop and stage the short texts they began during the initial sessions.
Me, Myself and AI is a workshop exploring the relationship between artificial intelligence and playwriting. In March, participants engaged in collective brainstorming, explored dramaturgical possibilities with AI tools such as ChatGPT, and began drafting short plays under the guidance of playwright Roberto Scarpetti. Between March and May, they continued refining their texts independently.
From 9 to 15 June at Teatro Torlonia, the second phase of the workshop will focus on bringing these texts to life. With the support of playwrights Constance de Saint Remy and Katerina Souckova, participants will finalize their scripts, work through rehearsal processes, and prepare them for presentation.
The workshop will culminate in a public stage reading on 15 June, offering audiences a chance to encounter these new works and reflect on how AI is reshaping creative processes, authorship, and the very idea of what it means to write for the stage today.
