Fabulamundi New Voices launches a new activity!

Playground for New Voices offers nine emergent playwrights who took part in the Fabulamundi programme the opportunity to develop their scripts through professional sessions with translators, directors, and performers. Nine R&D workshops will be organized by the partnership to provide writers at the early stage of their careers with perspectives on how to write with an international mindset, considering translation from the beginning. These workshopped texts will then be presented to the audience as readings.

About the R&D Workshops
Playground for New Voices consists of 9 R&D workshops, each held in a different country. Here’s what participants can expect:

• Local Workshops: Each country will host a workshop where young playwrights can see their texts and projects evolve.
• Professional Development: Over the sessions, national professionals will assist in refining the playwrights’ texts and projects.
• Translation Insights: Additional sessions with professional translators will help playwrights learn to write with an international perspective from the outset.
