
Jana Milivojević was born in 2002 in Belgrade. After finishing high school, she enrolled dramaturgy at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts. Her drama Mira’s are everywhere but peace is nowhere based on Mira Furlan’s autobiography was premiered in radio format in November 2023, which had its public reading in 2024 at Sterija’s Youth Theatre. Her drama How to tie shoelaces won the first place award given by Radio Belgrade for original children’s radio drama. She wrote the screenplay for the student film Focal Mechanisms, while also being an associate at screenplay writing for the student films Eat Me and Dancer Who Danced Alone. As a part of her student exercises, in cooperation with the department of theatre directing, she worked on the adaptation of Bertolt Brecht’s play Three Penny Opera and William Trevor’s short story Evening Out. She participated in reading workshops as part of the Treći Trg literary project supported by the Creative Europe program. In June 2024., she attended a seminar for young critics held in Trnava, Slovakia, as part of the first teenage theatre festival (Teen Theatre Fest).

He is running away from his adult life by using opiates, while she is running away from her adult life by deciding to move out of her dorm. Both are running away from growing up and facing problems they have. And while dealer and roommate live and try to cope with all the circumstances around them, he and she cling to their safe things – weed and phone. Only one of four of them manages to find a camper van, keeping it from others, because freedom is what make it be.
