Luca Cardetta

Luca Cardetta (2000) has nurtured his passion for theater since childhood in his hometown. After graduating from high school, he moved to Milan, where he attended the Centro Teatro Attivo, graduating as an actor in 2021. From October of the same year, he attended in the Playwriting course at the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi. In 2021, he participated in the workshop Cuerpo en Chaos, led by Leonarda Saffi. In 2022, he wrote Viola & Luna, a one-act play, and worked as a second assistant director with Mario Martone at Teatro alla Scala for the production of Fedora. In 2023, he wrote Solo un tuffo (reading at the theatre of Civica Scuola Paolo Grassi). That same year, he co-founded the collective radicAmare with Mirea Milano and Toni Bia, and their show La sartoria was a finalist for the Premio Ecoscena Ragazzi. In 2024, he wrote Il pianeta gigante, which premiered at Teatro Elfo Puccini in July of that year. The text received a mention PAV/Fabulamundi-Beyond Borders? at the Premio Hystrio Scritture di Scena 2024 and a mention at the Premio Inedito – Colline di Torino in the Theater Section. He is also the winner of the NEXT GENERATION section of the Premio Annoni 2024.
