Posso tenerlo? (Can I keep it?) is a question we used to ask as children. Whenever we discovered something special or precious, we would express the desire to hold onto it, and cherish it forever. It was a way to independently create our own world and preserve something significant through a simple request.

The workshop Posso tenerlo? led by Eva Geatti, is designed for young and very young participants. It aims to challenge the value system by which all existing things and the environment around us are classified, to question our privileged human perspective, and to blur our perception of the distinction between inhabitant and habitat. It creates a space where we become the environment, fostering a fluid relationship of non-separation between the “what” and the “where.” This allows for the exploration between organic and inorganic matter, alive and not alive.

Beginning with the search of selected images and texts concerning material as both object and physical mass, the workshop will focus on an embodied form of writing, aiming at exploring the potential for creating a new common environment rooted in interdependence.
