November started in Rome with the fifth Fabulamundi Partners’ Meeting which will gather all the members of the network for a three-day of discussion about the activities and the next steps of the project. All the partners met on 6-7-8 November at Teatro India in Rome.
On June 10th 2019 the show Laika. My Name is Dog by Czech playwright David Košták was presented with the direction of Alexandru Macrinici. The event took place in the frame of the 70th anniversary of The Ariel Children and Youth Theatre Târgu-Mureș.
On July 7th 2019 Teatrul Odeon ended its season with the premiere of Per il tuo bene by Italian author Pier Lorenzo Pisano, with the translation of Florin Galiş, the direction of Zoltan Balazs, and interpreted by Cezar Antal, Ioan Batinaş, Cătălina Mustață, Paula Niculiță, Simona Popescu, Eduard Trifa and Silvian Vâlcu.
On June 3rd 2019, in the frame of Laboratorium Dramatu, there was the reading of Julia and the Empty Lot by Spanish author Claudia Cedó directed by Justyna Celeda and translated by Zuzanna Bucko. The reading was followed by an open discussion with the audience.
On May 23, The time of the cherry tree smoke by Czech playwright Kateřina Rudčenková was on stage at Théâtre Ouvert, translated by Benoît Meunier, directed by Maëlle Dequiedt and with Anne Benoît, Bénédicte Cerutti, Blanche Ripoche. Below some pictures of the event.
From 26-31 March, Teatro Filodrammatici in Milan hosted the Italian premiere of the production of Teatro-i: Beyond Fukuyama by the Austrian playwright Thomas Köck, directed by Renzo Martinelli and with Federica Carra, Mauro Milone, Elisabetta Pogliani, Ulisse Romanò, Anna Sala. The show envisions a world entirely plausible, but at the same time, beyond imagination.
